Property Managers

Hao Lin is a Senior Property Manager:

He graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He joined HSM Property Management in 2019 as a Property Manager. Hao provides excellent customer service to clients and always tries his best to solve clients’ problems. He is knowledgeable in Accounting and in many computer software programs, such as QuickBooks, and all Microsoft Office products.

Rina Castillo is a Property Manager:

She is responsible for overseeing the financial and day- to- day operations of multiple Homeowner Associations. Rina works closely with property owners, the board of directors, as well as vendors, and property personnel to ensure that all properties are fulfilling Davis Stirling Act requirements and City building codes. Rina is a native San Franciscan. She holds a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. Prior to working at HSM, Rina worked in social services assisting low-income families who struggled to pay their rent. She worked closely with private landlords and property managers across the Bay Area, which sparked her interest in property management. Her positive and caring personality has made her a great asset to the agency.

Conor Doherty is a Property Manager:

He has a BS in Business Administration and a Minor in Economics from Southern Oregon University. Conor is a Bay Area local that joined HSM Property Management in 2021 after managing his own rental property for the last several years which gives him a useful perspective. He appreciates the unique issues facing Property Owners and Tenants in the evolving Bay Area Property Market. Conor Doherty offers exceptional customer service that focuses on ensuring client satisfaction and maximizing the profitability of the managed properties.

Jimmy Wen is a Property Manager:

He graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a minor in Decision Science. Jimmy has extensive customer service experience. He hopes to use his enthusiasm, and customer service experience to assist clients and establish strong working relationships with Board Members, Owners, Tenants and Vendors.

Accounting Team

Sam Wong is HSM’s Business Manager:

He brings 25+ years of accounting experience to the HSM Property Management division and has been employed with HSM since 2015.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from San Francisco State University.  His daily responsibilities include preparing financial statements, budget development, account receivables, account payables, etc.  He monitors HSM’s financial stability, and he works closely with the Property Management President for institutional development.

Constance Ye is a bookkeeper:

She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Upon her graduation in 2018, She joined HSM Property Management as an accounting assistant. She is very knowledgeable in many software programs, including QuickBooks and all Microsoft Office products. Her daily responsibilities include assisting the business manager with month-end reports, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Irene Ye is an accounting assistant:

She is graduating from San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree and studies across many areas. She is also multilingual in Cantonese and Mandarin. She joined the company with passion and commitment in 2020. Her enthusiasm made her love to communicate and work closely with others who often accomplish the task brilliantly. She believes teamwork and effort is the solution to any problem, therefore she is committed to collaborating by sharing her own experiences while observing others’ in pursuing a friendly work environment.

Office Manager

Mei Chan is the office manager:

She graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She is responsible for making the office run smoothly by frequently interacting with clients, answering general office phone calls and emails. She also ensures the office has the necessary supplies; she maintains the office equipment. Mei also coordinates the office activities. Not only does she oversee the day-to-day office administrative duties, but she also assists with the accounting department, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivables.
